Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics PCB Design Expert to design, evaluate, and validate power electronic circuits and PCB layouts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in power supply design, component selection, PCB layout best practices, and design verification methodologies.
Key Responsibilties

Design power electronic circuitsincluding DC-DC converters, LDOs, AC-DC power supplies, and automotive power systems.
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as KiCad, Altium, or equivalent.
- Select components based on electrical, thermal, and reliability requirements.
- Perform design analysis for efficiency, ripple, thermal performance, EMI, and manufacturability.
- Generate manufacturing deliverables including BOMs, Gerber files, and assembly data.
- Validate designs through simulations, calculations, DRC/LVS checks, and design reviews.
- Develop and apply verification frameworks for schematic and PCB layout quality, including specification compliance, topology validation, component derating, DFM, thermal integrity, and power integrity.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals (DC-DC converters, switching regulators, LDOs, power components).
- Hands-on experience with schematic design and PCB layout.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, or similar).
- Ability to interpret datasheets and validate component selection.
- Knowledge of DRC, manufacturability, grounding, routing, and EMI best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AC-DC power supply design and automotive electronics.
- Familiarity with thermal analysis, power integrity, and simulation tools.
- Experience developing hardware validation or evaluation frameworks.
- Basic scripting experience (Python/terminal-based verification workflows).
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineeringor related field.

5+ years of experience in power electronics and PCB design.
