About the Role

We're looking for Data Annotation Specialists to join our growing team of contributors across East and West Africa. You'll help label, categorize, and validate data that trains AI systems to understand African languages and contexts.

What You'll Do

• Label and categorize text, images, or audio data according to project guidelines
• Validate and review annotations for accuracy
• Follow detailed annotation guidelines and quality standards
• Provide feedback on ambiguous cases
• Meet weekly task completion targets

Requirements

• Based in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, or Rwanda
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable internet access and a computer or smartphone
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Available for at least 10-20 hours per week
• No prior experience required — training provided
