Join our customer’s team as a Technology & Data Privacy/Protection Lawyer - AI Trainer, where your expertise will guide the development of cutting-edge AI tools while ensuring robust compliance with global data protection frameworks. Utilize your deep regulatory knowledge to shape impactful solutions and train AI systems in understanding complex legal and privacy concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on the implementation and interpretation of major data protection and technology regulations (GDPR, DORA, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, DSA, DMA).
- Draft and negotiate technology contracts, focusing on data privacy, protection clauses, and cross-border data transfer requirements.
- Provide comprehensive regulatory compliance guidance tailored to cross-jurisdictional environments.
- Support the customer’s team in developing AI training data and legal content, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy laws.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks associated with technology and data-driven projects.
- Translate complex legal requirements into practical, actionable training modules for AI systems.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure alignment of AI outputs with legal standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as in-house counsel or external advisor on data privacy, technology law, or cross-border data transfer.
- Deep understanding of EU and international data protection frameworks (GDPR, DORA, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, DSA, DMA).
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating technology contracts and data transfer agreements.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clarity and precision.
- Demonstrated experience in advising corporate clients or working within innovative, technology-driven environments.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote, fast-paced, and cross-functional setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience training or developing AI tools in legal or compliance domains.
- Background in cross-border data localization laws and emerging digital regulatory trends.
- Fluency in multiple European languages.
