Swift/IOS Developer Expert

AfterQuery is seeking Swift/iOS Developer Experts to create and refine mobile development challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate iOS development scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex Swift programming and iOS development principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world app development, UI/UX implementation, and mobile architecture with precision and technical accuracy. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven iOS development practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of mobile technology.

Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $70/hr | Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality iOS development questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as UI development, state management, networking, data persistence, memory management, app lifecycle, debugging, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to iOS development best practices.
• Collaborate with a team of mobile development and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience developing iOS applications using Swift with a robust understanding of iOS frameworks and mobile development patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Swift syntax, UIKit/SwiftUI, and iOS SDK.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of iOS development experience with published apps in the App Store.
• Experience with modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, VIPER), Combine, async/await, Core Data, and third-party libraries.
• Prior involvement in open source iOS projects, technical writing, or mobile technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of Xcode, Interface Builder, debugging tools, and performance optimization is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning integration in iOS applications is a plus.
