Job Description This is a remote, project based role for supply chain professionals with 1 to 3 years of professional experience. You will complete tasks spanning demand planning, procurement, logistics analysis, inventory management, and technical evaluation across a variety of industries and supply chain functions. Work is over the next 2 to 3 weeks, asynchronous, and assigned on a project by project basis, with an expected commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week for the projects you accept. Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $50 - $100/hr | Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Complete part time, asynchronous project work of 10 to 20 hours per week on the projects you accept
  • Review and evaluate supply chain plans, procurement scenarios, logistics workflows, and operational documents
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory strategies, sourcing decisions, and distribution tradeoffs

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience as a supply chain analyst, demand planner, procurement specialist, logistics coordinator, or similar role in a full time or equivalent position
  • Strong working knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, sourcing, inventory, and fulfillment
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and resolve operational questions using data
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple industries, such as manufacturing, retail, CPG, ecommerce, or healthcare
  • Familiarity with frameworks and practices such as S&OP, MRP, lean, or Six Sigma
  • Exposure to supply chain software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Kinaxis, Excel modeling, or similar)
  • Background spanning both planning and execution roles, or experience coordinating across suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
