About the Role

Toronto and the broader Ontario corridor are home to world-class STEM doctoral programmes — from the University of Toronto and Waterloo to McMaster and Western. If you went through a PhD programme at any accredited institution and still have your qualifying exam materials saved, you can turn them into income with very little extra work.

We're looking for PhD graduates and current doctoral candidates in STEM fields to submit real qualifying exams that will be used to evaluate and train frontier AI models.

What You'll Do

• Submit one complete PhD qualifying exam per submission, paired with full worked solutions
• Ensure all problems from the exam are included in their original wording — no paraphrasing or modifications
• Provide fully worked-out solutions for every problem at a level another PhD student in the field could follow
• Populate all required metadata fields accurately (university, department, exam year, structure, problem count)
• Package your submission as a single, clearly organized PDF
• Confirm you have the rights to share the material

Who You Are

• Current or former PhD student at an accredited doctoral programme — this is non-negotiable
• Your qualifying exam is from one of these fields: Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related STEM discipline
• You personally sat for the exam and retained your materials
• Your exam is not publicly posted on any university website, archive, or third-party source
• You can confirm you have the rights to share the material
• Strong written English skills for metadata and submission accuracy

What Makes a Perfect Submission

Submissions with these characteristics have the highest acceptance rate:

• Exams with 20 or more problems, including all subparts
• Solutions that are fully worked out — not hints or one-line answers, but complete reasoning chains
• Multi-day or cumulative exam series submitted as a complete set
• Clean, clearly organized PDFs with problems and solutions easy to follow

What Does Not Qualify

• Coursework finals, homework, or problem sets
• Undergraduate or master's comprehensive exams
• Practice problems or mock quals
• Exams posted publicly on any university or department website
• Submissions where you cannot confirm rights to the material, including exams under NDA or restricted distribution
• Partial exams or exams with fewer than 20 questions
