Shipping and Inventory Clerk Expert

AfterQuery is seeking Shipping and Inventory Clerk Experts to create and refine warehouse operations challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate logistics scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex inventory management and shipping principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world receiving, storage, and distribution situations with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven warehouse practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of logistics technology.

Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $40 - $100/hr | Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality warehouse operations questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as receiving procedures, inventory tracking, order picking and packing, shipping documentation, quality control, stock rotation, cycle counting, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to warehouse best practices and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a shipping clerk, receiving clerk, inventory clerk, or in warehouse operations with a robust understanding of logistics processes and inventory management.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of warehouse operations experience, ideally across diverse industries and warehouse environments.
• Prior involvement in warehouse training, process improvement initiatives, or logistics technology projects.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning, forklift operation, or inventory control methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven warehouse applications is a plus.
