Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Expert for a frontier AI data initiative. Experts will design, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty tasks to improve the reliability and usefulness of frontier AI agents within complex digital-corporate settings (think: ERP systems, spend analytics databases, vendor portals, complex contract drafts, negotiation briefs, Slack, E-mail, and cross-functional communications). Experts will leverage deep category expertise to build gold-standard tasks that test advanced category strategy, supplier negotiations, contract risk mitigation, commercial decision-making, and technical procurement accuracy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Professional procurement certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Deep domain expertise in developing category strategies, leading complex supplier negotiations, and managing contract lifecycles.
• Proven track record of producing executive-level procurement deliverables, including strategic sourcing plans, total cost of ownership (TCO) models, complex RFXs, contract risk assessments, and negotiation strategy playbooks.
• Advanced ability to analyze complex commercial data, identify supply chain risks, translate multi-layered business requirements, and evaluate both the final artifact and the underlying strategic rationale.
• Demonstrated ability to author high-difficulty prompts, complex corporate scenarios, and gold-standard evaluation rubrics for AI models is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Author high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions covering complex category strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Review, calibrate, and critique output from team members to enforce quality standards across the pod's deliverables.
• Define task context, required data sources, expected deliverables, and rubrics that distinguish exceptional, acceptable, and deficient work.
• Verify task feasibility, technical accuracy, and practical realism using provided tools, datasets, and simulated enterprise environments.
• Identify and escalate edge cases, rubric ambiguities, or domain edge cases directly to the Functional SME Lead.
• Participate in calibration and revision cycles, incorporating feedback to continuously elevate task complexity and accuracy.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
• Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.

Offer Details:

• Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and upto 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
• Engagement type: Contractor
• Engagement Length: 9 weeks
