Science teachers to build the science instruction scenarios frontier AI labs use to test model judgment. $45 to $75/hr, remote, async, paid weekly.
AfterQuery builds the expert evaluation data that frontier AI labs use to measure and improve their models. We're hiring science teachers as contractors to author and grade the science instruction scenarios those evaluations run on.
What you'll actually do
- Author realistic science instruction scenarios including labs and misconceptions
- Write reference answers with the scientific reasoning behind each explanation
- Grade model output for scientific accuracy and lab safety
- Flag demonstrations and explanations that read well but are wrong or unsafe
Who this is for
- Teaching license or certification with a science endorsement
- 2+ years of teaching science in a classroom setting
- Depth in at least one discipline: biology, chemistry, physics, or earth science
- You can write scientific reasoning clearly enough for another teacher to follow it
Contract and pay
-
$45 to $75/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
- Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
- Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
- No screen recording, no keystroke monitoring, no idle timers.
- Independent contractor. Ongoing project work rather than single task batches.
