About the Role

We're looking for a QA Reviewer to ensure the quality and accuracy of data annotations produced by our contributor network. You'll review completed tasks, provide feedback, and help maintain the high standards our clients expect.

About DataLens Africa

At DataLens Africa, we build the high-quality language data that teaches AI to read, write, reason, and respond in African languages. We work with machine learning researchers, global health organisations, telcos, and foundation model companies who need data that reflects how people actually speak.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate completed annotation tasks for accuracy and consistency
• Identify patterns of errors and provide targeted feedback to annotators
• Maintain quality metrics and reporting dashboards
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve quality issues
• Help develop and refine annotation guidelines
• Escalate edge cases and ambiguities to senior team members

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Experience in quality assurance, data review, or annotation work
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
• Familiarity with annotation tools and workflows is a plus
• Based in Nigeria (remote)
