Join our customer's team as a Psychologist (Substance Use) - AI trainer and play a pivotal role at the intersection of behavioral health expertise and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. As a key contributor, you will harness your clinical acumen and substance use knowledge to inform and enhance AI-driven solutions designed to support individuals navigating substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, review, and curate content to ensure accuracy and sensitivity in substance use contexts for AI applications.
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to infuse psychological and substance use expertise into AI model development and training.
Develop, evaluate, and refine training datasets with clinical precision and real-world relevance.
Apply evidence-based principles to assess and improve AI responses, identifying areas for bias mitigation and quality enhancement.
Communicate complex psychological concepts effectively to multidisciplinary team members, both in writing and verbally.
Contribute to the creation of ethical guidelines and best practices for AI systems supporting substance use prevention and intervention.
Stay current with research in psychology, addiction sciences, and AI ethics to inform program improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Psychology, with a specialization or demonstrated experience in substance use or addiction.
Extensive clinical experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders.
Expertise in psychological assessment, intervention models, and harm reduction strategies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—clear, compassionate, and precise.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in content review and data interpretation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Commitment to ethical practices and sensitivity in addressing diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating on AI, tech-enabled, or digital health projects.
Previous training, supervision, or curriculum development experience in substance use treatment or prevention.
