Overview
Handshake is looking for experienced procurement, contracts, and construction sourcing professionals to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. This is not a traditional job — you'll draw on your hands-on expertise in spend analytics, contract management, and construction procurement to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand real-world procurement and sourcing workflows.This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current work.What You'll DoUse your domain expertise to create expert-level training questions and scenarios based on real procurement analytics, contract management, and construction sourcing workflowsReview and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world spend management and procurement practicesProvide structured written feedback to help improve AI model performanceComplete tasks at your own pace with no set schedule or minimum hour requirement
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in procurement, contract management, or construction sourcing, in a role such as Spend Analyst, Procurement Analytics Manager, Contracts Administrator, Contract Manager, Construction Procurement Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Bid Coordinator, or EstimatorHands-on experience with workflows such as spend analysis, savings tracking, contract administration, or construction bid managementFamiliarity with DocuSign, BuildingConnected, Sievo, Snowflake, or similar procurement and contract management platformsStrong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
