PowerPoint Specialist

AfterQuery is seeking PowerPoint Specialist Experts to create and refine presentation design challenges for training AI models. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate presentation scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex visual communication principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world slide design, data visualization, and storytelling with precision and practical insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven presentation design practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of presentation technology.

Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $50/hr | Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality presentation design questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as slide layouts, visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, data charts, animation timing, template design, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to presentation design best practices and visual communication standards.
• Collaborate with a team of design and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations with a robust understanding of visual design principles and effective communication.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint including advanced features, animations, and design tools.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of presentation design experience, ideally across diverse industries and presentation types (corporate, sales, marketing, executive briefings, etc.).
• Prior involvement in design training, brand guidelines development, or presentation technology initiatives.
• Experience with data visualization, infographics, and storytelling through slides is a plus.
• Knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) or presentation alternatives (Keynote, Google Slides) is a plus.
