Are you an experienced platform engineer ready to apply your expertise in a cutting-edge AI environment? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current projects or consulting work?

We are looking for freelance platform engineers based in the EU or UK to help improve large AI systems.

What you’ll be doing

We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve advanced AI systems.

Your role is practical and high impact. You will:

• Review and refine AI-generated responses, workflows, and technical explanations related to platform engineering

• Evaluate outputs for architectural accuracy, technical validity, and real-world applicability

• Draft realistic engineering scenarios involving cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, system reliability, and DevOps best practices

• Assess AI reasoning in areas such as system scaling, performance optimization, security, and automation

• Identify gaps, unrealistic solutions, or methodological flaws in AI outputs

• Create scenario variations from the perspective of different stakeholders, such as engineer, operations, or management

In simple terms:
You will assess and improve AI-generated content to ensure it reflects real-world platform engineering standards and reasoning. Your work will directly advance the quality and impact of AI systems on engineering topics.

Who this is for

You are:

• A platform engineer, DevOps specialist, or cloud infrastructure expert

• Based in the EU or UK

• With several years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining modern platforms

• Familiar with tools, architectures, and methodologies in operations, CI/CD, automation, and cloud platforms

• Comfortable identifying flaws, unrealistic assumptions, or technical errors in engineering solutions

• Available 8 to 20 hours per week

• Able to start in the coming weeks
