Role Overview
The Scientific Reasoning & Discovery Engineer is responsible for creating high-quality reasoning datasets that evaluate and enhance the scientific reasoning capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs). This role focuses on designing data-driven scientific discovery tasks that require models to analyze experimental or simulated observations, identify patterns, infer governing laws, estimate parameters, and predict outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in scientific methodology, quantitative analysis, and mathematical modeling, with the ability to develop rigorous, reproducible, and logically consistent evaluation tasks.
