Key Responsibilities:
- Review and annotate medical data, images, and reports to support AI model development.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to refine algorithms for disease detection and classification.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on diagnostic best practices, pathology workflows, and clinical decision-making.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, providing constructive feedback for iterative improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of high-quality training materials and documentation for AI models.
- Participate in regular virtual meetings, sharing insights and recommendations with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethical, privacy, and regulatory standards in all AI training activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Board-certified pathologist with experience in anatomic, clinical, or subspecialty pathology (e.g., cytopathology, hematopathology, dermatopathology).
- Proven expertise in diagnosing diseases and conducting lab tests using tissues, organs, or fluids.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear and collaborative interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex medical data and provide precise clinical insights.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
- Experience working remotely and managing time effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Desire to contribute as a SME for AI training, helping shape innovative healthcare technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with digital pathology platforms or AI/ML projects in healthcare.
- Familiarity with clinical informatics or data annotation tools.
