Mercor is seeking a senior attorney or legal academic with deep expertise in special needs planning and disability benefits law to serve as a Legal Content Reviewer. In this role, you will review structured legal content for an advanced AI evaluation project.

What You'll Do

• Review legal documents and structured content related to special needs planning and disability benefits
• Validate content accuracy on ABLE accounts, guardianship, and special needs trusts
• Ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory frameworks including Medicaid eligibility and SSI application processes
• Provide expert feedback on legal reasoning and accuracy of AI-generated content

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of professional experience in special needs law or related academic fields
• Expertise in trust structures and disability benefits law
• Strong analytical and legal writing skills
• Familiarity with ABLE accounts, guardianship proceedings, and special needs trusts
• Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and SSI application processes

Engagement Details

• Duration: 4–6 weeks
• Commitment: ~5 hours per week
• Location: Fully remote
• Compensation: $110–$140/hour
• Payment: Weekly via Stripe or Wise
