Junior Consultant Expert

AfterQuery is hiring Consulting Deliverables Experts — current or former consultants with strong research and synthesis skills to help design datasets that capture real consulting workflows. You’ll contribute your expertise in desk research, structured problem-solving, and professional communication to create examples of high-quality consulting deliverables. This is a remote, part-time contract role, with flexible hours.

Commitment: 15 hours/week | Pay: $100 - $150/hr | Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Create or source authentic consulting deliverables (e.g., research briefs, market overviews, strategy decks, client memos, analytical spreadsheets)
• Write detailed prompts that describe the analytical task that would produce each deliverable
• Develop concise rubrics outlining what distinguishes excellent, average, and poor outputs

Required Qualifications

• Native English speaker
• 1-5 years experience in consulting, with at least one experience at an aforementioned leading firm
• Strong desk research, synthesis, and presentation skills
• Ability to produce polished, client-ready materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading workstreams or managing research-heavy modules
• Familiarity with frameworks like MECE, issue trees, and hypothesis-driven problem solving
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and structured business writing
