This is a remote, part-time educational content role. You’ll create rubrics, exemplar responses, short research-style briefs, and instructional materials that mirror high-quality high school coursework. Your work will train next-generation AI models to reason more like expert educators. Projects are asynchronous and flexible, with ~10 hours/week expected when active.
Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $40 - $120 / hour | Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Write detailed grading rubrics for assignments, essays, problem sets, and multi-step reasoning tasks
- Produce exemplar student responses at multiple proficiency levels, with structured feedback
- Draft short research briefs explaining common misconceptions, cognitive scaffolds, and pedagogical strategies
- Create instructional materials: guided inquiry sequences, reading comprehension tasks, problem-solving breakdowns, and more
- Evaluate model outputs and flag issues with reasoning, structure, clarity, or pedagogy
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of rubric design, assessment standards, and high school-level pedagogy
- 2+ years teaching, tutoring, or curriculum development at the high school level
- Experience evaluating student work and articulating reasoning-based feedback
- Interest in supporting the development of next-generation AI educational tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AP/IB curriculum design or standards alignment
- Degree in Education, English, Math, Science, History, or a related fiel
- Background in instructional design, literacy development, or competition coaching (debate, math, writing)
