We're hiring health economists as contractors to author and grade the economic evaluations those assessments run on. What you'll actually do • Author realistic economic evaluations from research question through recommendation • Write reference answers with the methodological reasoning behind each choice • Grade model output for analytical soundness and defensibility of assumptions • Flag analyses that read plausibly but would mislead a payer or a regulator Who this is for • Graduate degree in health economics, economics, public health, epidemiology or a related field • 3+ years of professional or research experience in health economics or outcomes research • Depth in your area: cost-effectiveness modelling, budget impact, real world evidence, or HTA submissions • You can write methodological reasoning clearly enough for another economist to follow it

Commitment: 10 hours/week | Pay: $90 - $150/hr | Type: Contract

• Write reference answers with the methodological reasoning behind each choice
• Grade model output for analytical soundness and defensibility of assumptions
• Flag analyses that read plausibly but would mislead a payer or a regulator

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree (MS, MPH or PhD) in health economics, economics, public health, epidemiology or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of professional or research experience in health economics or outcomes research
• Hands-on experience building economic models
• Clear written English for documenting methodological reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience precepting NP students or teaching clinical content
• DNP or an additional specialty certification
• Prior chart review, utilization review, or QA experience
• ISPOR membership, conference presentations, or peer reviewed publications applying economic evaluation methods
• Experience preparing submissions for NICE, ICER, CADTH, PBAC, IQWiG or AMCP
• Hands-on modelling in R, TreeAge, Excel and VBA, Stata or SAS
• Work with claims or EHR databases such as MarketScan, Optum, IQVIA, Medicare, SEER-Medicare or Flatiron
