In this impactful role, you will administer, optimize, and secure database systems while serving as a subject matter expert for AI training initiatives. Leverage your technical knowledge and passion for communication to drive innovation and ensure robust data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, test, and implement computer database systems to support mission-critical applications.
• Coordinate and execute database changes in line with evolving project requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance, scalability, and capacity challenges.
• Plan and implement database security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Collaborate closely with development and AI teams to provide SME-level guidance for AI model training.
• Document workflows, best practices, and system configurations with exceptional written clarity.
• Troubleshoot incidents swiftly and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in database administration (e.g. DBA, Database Analyst, or similar roles).
• Strong expertise in database management systems, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain robust security protocols.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on clarity and detail.
• Experience supporting data-driven AI or machine learning projects.
• Skilled in documenting technical processes and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a subject matter expert (SME) for AI model or data training.
• Knowledge of modern cloud database platforms and automation tools.
• Familiarity with large-scale database deployments for AI/ML applications.
