Are you an experienced data architect interested in applying your expertise to cutting-edge AI systems? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current projects or consulting work?

10x Team is looking for freelance data architects based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI technologies.

What you’ll be doing

As a part of 10x Team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals partnering with leading AI labs, your practical and high-impact role will involve:

• Reviewing and refining AI-generated content related to data architecture and system design

• Evaluating outputs for structural accuracy, scalability, and real-world applicability

• Drafting realistic architecture scenarios, including industry use-cases for data pipelines, integration, warehousing, and governance

• Assessing AI reasoning on topics such as data modeling, database optimization, ETL processes, security, and compliance

• Identifying gaps or misinterpretations in architectural methodology or design

• Creating scenario variations from diverse stakeholder perspectives (e.g., architect, engineer, business leader)

In simple terms: You will assess and improve AI-generated content to ensure it reflects the latest standards and best practices in data architecture, helping scale and advance the quality of AI systems.

Who this is for

You are:

• A data architect, data engineer, or enterprise systems expert

• Based in the EU or UK

• Seasoned with several years of experience in database design, data architecture, or large-scale data systems

• Proficient with modern data ecosystem tools, architectural patterns, and compliance frameworks

• Skilled at spotting design flaws, unrealistic assumptions, or structural risks

• Available 8 to 20 hours per week

• Able to start in the coming weeks

This position is fully remote and flexible, ideal alongside your existing commitments.
