About the Role

Pasiflora AI has immediate openings for Chemical AI Safety Annotators & Subject Matter Experts to evaluate AI-generated responses in chemistry and chemical-safety scenarios.

We're looking for experienced professionals who can apply their real-world chemical expertise to assess whether AI responses are accurate, appropriate, and safe.

Ideal backgrounds include:

Chemistry / Organic Chemistry

Analytical Chemistry

Chemical Engineering

Toxicology

Pharmacology

Biochemistry

Pharmaceutical Sciences

Materials Science

Industrial Hygiene

Environmental Health / EHS

Occupational or Process Safety

Forensic Chemistry

Chemical Security

Environmental Science

Experience may include: synthetic or analytical chemistry, toxicology, chemical/process safety, hazardous materials, exposure assessment, regulatory work, chemical security, or related professional experience.

What you'll do

Evaluate AI-generated responses to chemistry-related prompts

Classify content as Benign, Dual-Use, or Adversarial

Assess technical accuracy and safety

Compare and rank AI responses

Identify errors, omissions, and safety concerns

Write expert reference responses

Participate in quality review and calibration

AI experience is not required. We're looking for people with strong chemical subject-matter expertise and professional judgment.

🌎 Location: Remote — eligible contributors must work from an approved country

💼 Engagement: Independent Contractor

💰 Rate: $40/hour
