AI Linguistic Evaluator - Tamil (India)

We are looking for AI Linguistic Evaluators to assess how effectively an AI application performs in Tamilfor a short collaboration.

  • Job Type: Freelance
  • Location: Remote from the United States
  • Work Schedule: Flexible
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Duration: Approximately 10-15 total hours (around 5 hours per day)
  • Rate:18 USD/hour
  • Equipment Required:Access to at least one personal device running iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS

Are you a native-level speaker of Tamilwith strong English skills and a keen eye for language quality? Join a remote AI project where you'll evaluate AI-generated content, assess linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance, and help improve next-generation AI systems. Ideal for professionals with experience in linguistics, translation, localization, or related language-focused fields.

What You’ll Do:

  • Interacting with an AI assistant in your target language.
  • Translating provided prompts from English into your target language and using them to interact with the AI application.
  • Evaluating the quality of AI-generated responses according to project guidelines.
  • Assessing localization quality, including linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
  • Providing structured evaluations and feedback following the project instructions and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Native-level fluency in Tamil (India)
  • Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of the target language

  • Ability to accurately translate prompts from Englishinto the target language

  • Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in language-related work

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines

  • Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments

  • Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards

  • Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
