Are you an experienced accountant interested in leveraging your expertise in an innovative context? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current consulting or part-time employment?

We are looking for freelance accountants based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.

What you’ll be doing

We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We collaborate with leading AI labs to advance the capabilities of large AI systems.

Your work will be practical and highly impactful. You will:

• Review and refine AI-generated responses and outputs related to accounting principles and practices

• Evaluate content for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and real-world applicability

• Draft realistic accounting scenarios, including financial analysis, bookkeeping tasks, compliance checks, and audit cases

• Assess AI reasoning involving accounting treatment for various transactions, financial reporting, and tax calculations

• Identify inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or oversimplified logic

• Create variations of the same scenario from the perspectives of different stakeholders, such as accountant, client, auditor, or regulator

In simple terms:
You will review and improve AI-generated accounting content to ensure it reflects real-world accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Your contributions will directly advance the accuracy and quality of AI systems in accounting contexts.

Who this is for

You are:

• A qualified accountant, auditor, or accounting associate

• Based in the EU or UK

• Experienced in accounting, financial reporting, and/or audit (several years in practice is preferred)

• Familiar with regional/international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP)

• Comfortable spotting technical inaccuracies and problematic assumptions

• Available 8 to 20 hours per week

• Able to start soon

This is a fully remote, flexible role that fits well alongside your existing professional responsibilities.
