This is a remote, project-based role for 3D design professionals with 1–3 years of work experience in Blender. You will complete tasks similar to those performed in 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, or visualization roles. Work is over the next 2-3 weeks, asynchronous, and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept. Responsibilities
- Document workflows, scene setups, and asset creation pipelines
- Collaborate asynchronously on 3D design and production projects
- Create and deliver 3D assets using Blender and industry-standard tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve rendering issues, optimization challenges, and technical problems
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional experience in 3D design, modeling, animation, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Blender and one or more of the following: hard surface modeling, organic modeling, texturing/UV mapping, lighting and rendering (Cycles/Eevee), animation, or procedural workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience/portfolio)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on technical and creative tasks
